Do You Have Bread to Give?

In Luke 11, Jesus tells the story of the traveler (lost people) who comes at midnight asking for some bread.. The person of the house (us the church) has no bread to give him and goes to his friend (God) asking to borrow some midnight! Because of his persistence, the friend (God) gives him some bread.

Most of us christians will try to answer the cry of the lost for bread with stale old bread, or no bread at all. But, the bread that they need only comes from God. This bread is received through persistent, consistent prayer! Jesus has us pray... "Give us today our daily bread." This bread is not just for You, but for others!

The lost do not always come at a convenient time.

Seek the Lord today for His bread. Develop a deeper appetite for His fellowship! Be ready to give out the bread you receive!

Here is the context for those interested. Many Blessings today! - Richy

Luke 11:5 And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; 7 and he will answer from within and say, “Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? 8 I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
